Preparing a wedding reportage: the checklist

A successful wedding reportage is built before the big day. Three preparation meetings: a first conversation to understand the couple and their priorities (ceremony, family, party, details), a location scout to anticipate the light at each key hour, and a logistics check one week before (addresses, timings, constraints). The gear checklist: two bodies, two memory cards per key stage, batteries charged the night before, and an identified weather plan B for every outdoor moment. On the day, the photographer must be invisible during strong moments and present at key moments — this schedule is what makes it possible.
